This page serves as a guide to the Curriculum Lab section of Crowell Library.
The Christian Education materials are arranged by ministries of the church and are located on shelves and in filing cabinets on the west side of the lab. Materials for a particular category are arranged topically by call number or alphabetically by publisher. Some samples of historical materials are kept in the alcove to the left of the Christian Education shelves.
Larger materials, which do not fit in the regular file drawers or on the shelves, are placed in the oversize file cabinet located next to the Accu-Cut® cutting system. One of the oversize drawers contains materials for teaching about missions.
Current Sunday School materials are displayed on the shelves at the entrance to the lab. After a period of time, they are placed in the appropriate file drawers.

Located at the end of this section are pocket charts, fabric charts, etc. A chart stand is also available for use in the lab.

Some manipulatives and oversize items are kept in the metal closet located under the Noah's Ark wall hanging. They are intended primarily for classroom use. For help in obtaining these items, see a circulation desk worker. Various learning items containing magnets are on the magnets’ rack.
Pamphlets (small supplementary publications) are located in acrylic racks on the shelves near the entrance to the lab. These are divided into three categories: teaching resources, games, and juvenile literature.
This file includes articles, teaching guides, lesson plans, and brochures on topics such as animals, arts and crafts, science, social studies, and teaching. These materials are located in a file drawer above the Education catalogs.
